Wenzhou is quite a small city in China. While not everyone may know where it is on the map, many people met Wenzhounese. The city got its name for its mild climate (wen means “temperate” in Chinese). It has favorable natural conditions, being neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter, with four distinct seasons.
Few decades ago people from Wenzhou began travelling extensively north and south across China and around the world. When Wenzhounese are in different countries, engaged in different businesses, or pursuing different life goals, we are always missing our hometown traditional feasts: Yuwan Mian-Fish Ball Noodle Soup and Qiaoyu Mian-Knock Fish Noodle Soup.
We would like to introduce our delicious food to the rest of the world and share it with you!
